KUPONYA

Accessibility

Last updated: TBD β€” set on go-live.

Commitment

Krystal K. Thompson commits to making kuponyaself.com accessible to the widest possible audience, in line with WCAG 2.2 level AA. KUPONYA's audience includes people experiencing burnout, fatigue, grief β€” accessibility is non-negotiable.

Measures applied

  • Text / background contrasts compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA

  • Full keyboard navigation (skip-link, visible focus rings)

  • Mandatory alt text on every uploaded image (server-enforced)

  • HTML5 semantic structure

  • Compatible with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS)

  • Reduced motion respected (animations disabled when prefers-reduced-motion)

  • Video hero has poster fallback; no audio autoplay

Known limitations

The Founder Story on the About page contains a long verbatim narrative; we provide structural headings and pull-quotes to assist screen reader navigation but the length is intentional.
